Watts Community Core is committed to making a difference in Nickerson Gardens and the surrounding area of Watts. They truly care about the community and offer a number of invaluable resources to youth and families. They provide services from food relief to educational safe spaces for youth, that positively impacts the lives of the Watts greater community on a daily basis.

Black Girls CODE builds pathways for young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer programming and technology.
They are helping to create stronger economies and more equitable societies — ultimately realizing the true potential of democracy through diversity and inclusion.
